Upcoming Events
Join us for today's meeting, MONDAY, APRIL 13, 6:00-7:00pm at Kerckhoff 417 to learn about the Heifer Ark Project as well as meet fellow Rotaractors from the District. If that's not exciting enough for you, wait, there's more... We'll also be having our SPRING DINNER SOCIAL after the meeting. This is an excellent way to get to know your fellow Rotaractors!

If you can't attend the meeting and would like to join us afterwards for dinner, you are most welcome to come! Here's my number if you like to meet us for dinner: (951) 316-8967.

I'm super ecstatic! I hope to see you all there tomorrow!!

Heifer Ark Project
We are working with our district to develop this international project to send animals to Tanzania, Africa. The typical make up of the Heifer Ark includes a pair of each: cows, sheep, camels, oxen, water buffalo, pigs, beehives, goats, donkeys, llamas, as well as flocks of geese, chicken, and trios of ducks, rabbits and guinea pigs. The animals will provide milk, meat, wool, transportation, agriculture, and income to the local community.
We will work to fundraise for this project.

REMINDER:
If you are available Thursday, from 12:15 to 1:45PM, I'd like to invite you to a Rotary meeting to meet our wonderful Rotarians of Westwood. It's a free lunch at the UCLA Faculty Center on campus. The dress is business/casual. No jeans. If you're free to attend, email nikkolevaldez@ucla.edu to RSVP.

Welcome!

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are usually community-based or university-based and are sponsored by a local Rotary club making them true "partners in service" and key members of the Rotary family.

Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.

All Rotaract efforts begin at the local grassroots level and all Rotaract clubs have access to the many resources of Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation.
